Travelling as a group
You are never left to find your own way. The tour manager stays with the group all day, every day.

Lima, the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu by train and Lake Titicaca, arranged with altitude care for older travellers.
Machu Picchu is reachable for most travellers when the trip is planned properly. We take the train rather than the trail, spend two nights in the lower Sacred Valley before Cusco, and keep oxygen and coca tea on hand.
Our guides are used to walking slowly with a group and there is always a seat nearby at every site.
This is the standard plan. Departure dates can shift a day here or there depending on flight timings, and we will always send the final version before you pay in full.
Arrival, rest and a city tour of the historic centre, Miraflores and the Larco Museum.
Fly to Cusco and drive straight down to the valley, where the altitude is easier, for Pisac and Ollantaytambo.
Train to Aguas Calientes, an overnight stay and a guided morning visit to the citadel at an easy pace.
The cathedral, Qorikancha and Sacsayhuaman, with free time in the San Blas artisan quarter.
Travel to Puno for the floating islands, then return to Lima for your flight home.
A little of what your days look like once the group is together.
