Privacy policy

Last updated on 18/08/2026. This policy explains what Golden Holidays does with the personal information you share with us.

Who we are

Golden Holidays is a travel business operating from 8 Brewster Road, Suite 203, Brampton ON L6T 5B7, Canada. We arrange escorted group tours for senior travellers. You can reach our privacy contact at anilsanduja@hotmail.com or on 416-412-6400. We follow the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), which applies to businesses operating in Ontario.

Information we collect

Through this website and during a booking we may collect:

  • Your name, email address, phone number, and city or country of residence.
  • The tour you are interested in, travel dates and the number of travellers.
  • Meal preference and preferred language, so we can plan your tour correctly.
  • Health, mobility or dietary information that you choose to share so that we can arrange suitable hotels, seating and meals.
  • Passport details, date of birth and emergency contact information at the booking stage, which are needed for airlines, visas and hotels.
  • Records of our correspondence by email, phone or WhatsApp.

This website does not run advertising trackers and does not collect payment card details. Payments are handled offline or through a regulated payment provider at the time of booking.

How we use your information

  • To answer your enquiry and send itineraries, quotations and departure dates.
  • To make the bookings your tour requires, including flights, hotels and entry tickets.
  • To support visa applications where you have asked us to help.
  • To contact you about a tour you have joined, including any schedule change.
  • To meet legal, accounting and insurance obligations in Canada.

We only send tour news and departure announcements if you have asked for them, and every message includes a way to stop receiving them.

Who we share it with

We share only what is necessary with airlines, hotels, ground operators, local guides, embassies and insurance providers connected to your tour. Some of these partners are in the countries you are visiting, so your information may be handled outside Canada and be subject to the laws of that country. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

How long we keep it

Enquiry details are kept for up to two years so that we can follow up on future departures. Booking and financial records are kept for seven years to satisfy Canadian tax and accounting requirements, after which they are securely destroyed.

How we protect it

Files are stored on password protected devices and business accounts with limited access. Paper documents such as passport copies are kept in a locked cabinet at our Brampton office and shredded once they are no longer required.

Your rights

You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to delete anything we are not legally required to keep. Write to anilsanduja@hotmail.com and we will respond within thirty days. If you are not satisfied with our response you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
