Travelling as a group
You are never left to find your own way. The tour manager stays with the group all day, every day.

Moorish palaces, Atlantic coastlines and the markets of Marrakech, joined together in one warm and colourful journey.
This journey follows the old trading routes of the Iberian peninsula and crosses to Morocco by ferry. You see Madrid, Seville, Lisbon, Fes and Marrakech, along with the tile work and gardens that make this region so photogenic.
Afternoons in the warmer months are kept free, and we schedule sightseeing early when the light is soft and the streets are quiet.
This is the standard plan. Departure dates can shift a day here or there depending on flight timings, and we will always send the final version before you pay in full.
Arrive in Madrid, rest, then tour the royal palace and old town before a day trip to walled Toledo.
Travel south for the Alhambra, its gardens and an evening walk through the Albaicin quarter.
The Mezquita in Cordoba, then Seville cathedral, the Alcazar and a flamenco show.
Cross into Portugal for Lisbon, Sintra palaces and the coastal road to Cascais.
Ferry to Morocco, then on to Fes for the tanneries, medina and pottery workshops with a guide.
Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca, then Marrakech for the Koutoubia, Bahia Palace and Jemaa el Fna square.
A relaxed final morning, farewell lunch and transfer to Marrakech airport for your flight home.
A little of what your days look like once the group is together.
