Moorish palaces, Atlantic coastlines and the markets of Marrakech, joined together in one warm and colourful journey.

16 days
Spain, Portugal, Morocco

Tour overview

This journey follows the old trading routes of the Iberian peninsula and crosses to Morocco by ferry. You see Madrid, Seville, Lisbon, Fes and Marrakech, along with the tile work and gardens that make this region so photogenic.

Afternoons in the warmer months are kept free, and we schedule sightseeing early when the light is soft and the streets are quiet.

Trip highlights

  • Alhambra Palace and Generalife gardens in Granada
  • Flamenco evening in Seville with dinner
  • Belem Tower, Jeronimos Monastery and a tram ride in Lisbon
  • Ferry across the Strait of Gibraltar to Tangier
  • Marrakech souks and a Moroccan dinner with live music
