Two cities, nine days and no rushing. Moscow gives you the Kremlin, the metro stations that look like palaces and the colour of Saint Basil's. Saint Petersburg gives you the Hermitage and the gold of Peterhof.
The high speed train between the cities takes under four hours and is fully seated, so there is no long coach travel on this tour.

Day by day itinerary
This is the standard plan. Departure dates can shift a day here or there depending on flight timings, and we will always send the final version before you pay in full.
- Days 1 to 3
Moscow
Arrival and rest, then the Kremlin, Red Square, Saint Basil's Cathedral and a guided metro tour.
- Day 4
Sergiev Posad
A day trip to the golden ring monastery town, returning to Moscow for dinner.
- Days 5 to 7
Saint Petersburg
High speed train north for the Hermitage, Church of the Spilled Blood and a canal cruise.
- Days 8 to 9
Palaces and departure
Peterhof and Catherine Palace, a farewell dinner and your airport transfer the next morning.
