Terms and conditions

Last updated on 18/08/2026. These terms apply to every tour booked with Golden Holidays.

1. About these terms

Golden Holidays operates from 8 Brewster Road, Suite 203, Brampton ON L6T 5B7, Canada. By making a booking with us you accept these terms on behalf of everyone named in that booking. Questions can be sent to anilsanduja@hotmail.com.

2. Quotations and booking

Prices quoted on this website or by our staff are estimates until a booking is confirmed in writing. A booking is confirmed once we receive your deposit and the names of all travellers exactly as printed in their passports.

3. Payments

A deposit is payable at the time of booking and the balance is due at least sixty days before departure. Bookings made inside sixty days require payment in full. Prices are quoted in Canadian dollars unless we state otherwise, and taxes and fees are shown on your invoice.

4. Changes and cancellations by you

Cancellation charges depend on how close to departure you cancel and on the terms set by airlines, hotels and local operators. The exact schedule is printed on your invoice. Name changes and date changes are treated as cancellations by most airlines. All cancellation requests must be sent to us in writing.

5. Changes and cancellations by us

Our tours run with a minimum group size. If a departure does not reach that number we may offer an alternative date or a full refund of money paid to us. Itineraries can change because of weather, road conditions, strikes or site closures. We will always arrange a comparable alternative where one exists.

6. Travel documents

You are responsible for holding a valid passport, the correct visas and any required vaccinations. We assist with visa paperwork where we can, but we cannot influence any decision taken by an embassy or a border officer, and no refund is available if a visa is refused.

7. Insurance

Travel and medical insurance is a condition of joining our tours. Please buy cover as soon as you book, declare all existing medical conditions and carry your policy details with you throughout the trip.

8. Health, mobility and fitness to travel

Our tours are designed for senior travellers, but they still involve walking, standing and using stairs at some sites. Please tell us at the booking stage about any condition that affects your mobility or diet so we can plan properly. Our tour manager may ask a traveller to sit out an activity when their safety is at risk.

9. Meals

Meals included in your itinerary are described on the tour page. Vegetarian and non vegetarian options are arranged where stated. We pass every dietary note to our suppliers, though we cannot guarantee a kitchen free of cross contamination.

10. Behaviour on tour

We ask everyone to be punctual and considerate towards the rest of the group. If a traveller behaves in a way that endangers or seriously disturbs others, we may end their participation without a refund.

11. Our liability

Golden Holidays arranges services provided by independent airlines, hotels, coach operators and local guides. We select our partners with care but we are not liable for their acts or omissions, or for loss or delay caused by events outside our reasonable control.

12. Complaints

If something is not right, tell your tour manager immediately so it can be fixed on the spot. If the matter remains unresolved, write to us within thirty days of returning home and we will respond in writing.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute will be heard by the courts of Ontario.
