Tour overview

This is an easy region for older travellers. Flights between countries are short, hotels are excellent value and Indian food is available in every city we stay in.

We schedule sightseeing in the mornings and keep afternoons free during the hottest hours, with a swimming pool at almost every hotel.

Day by day itinerary

This is the standard plan. Departure dates can shift a day here or there depending on flight timings, and we will always send the final version before you pay in full.

  1. Days 1 to 3

    Bangkok

    Arrival and rest, the Grand Palace and reclining Buddha, a floating market and a river dinner cruise.

  2. Days 4 to 5

    Kuala Lumpur

    Fly to Malaysia for Batu Caves, the city tour and a Genting Highlands excursion.

  3. Days 6 to 8

    Singapore

    Gardens by the Bay, the night safari, Sentosa cable car and a free day for shopping.

  4. Days 9 to 11

    Hanoi and Halong Bay

    Fly to Vietnam for the old quarter, a water puppet show and a cruise through the limestone bay.

  5. Days 12 to 14

    Siem Reap

    Angkor Wat, Bayon and Ta Prohm across two unhurried mornings, with an Apsara dinner show.

  6. Days 15 to 16

    Departure

    A final free morning, farewell lunch and your transfer to the airport.
